WWOOF Portugal offers 20 free WWOOFer memberships per year.

This offer is our way to give access to WWOOF in Portugal to people with little money or those living on a low budget, while bringing people closer to collaborate in the WWOOF community.

At the moment, we give priority to applications that show originality and awareness, revealing ideas and concerns about the importance of volunteer movements, organic farming, and food sovereignty, especially in these times when the need to care for the planet is so evident.

Please bear in mind that there are a limited number of memberships to offer. We will also ask the selected ones to produce a short inspiring review (a written report, a poem, photos, a letter, etc) about their experience to be shared with other current & potential WWOOFers.

We offer only the exemption from payment of the membership fee. You will still have to afford your travel expenses to and around Portugal.

The applications should be done in Portuguese or in English. In case you are not fluent in any of these languages, we will also accept it in your original language, but we’re going to translate it with any online translator, so be aware that some misunderstandings might happen.

The reception of proposals happens 4 times every year, in January, April, July and October, through this form.

Everyone who submits their proposal will get a response by email by the end of the month or the beginning of the following month.
