Our 1st WWOOF Weekend is here !

A weekend of volunteering, learning and community on an organic farm in Benfeita, Coimbra.

On May 29, 30 and 31, WWOOF Portugal is having our first WWOOF Weekend: a new way to experience WWOOF in a single weekend, open to members and non-members.

We’re heading to JuicyLand, in Benfeita, Coimbra: A farm that was hit by a fire last summer and a flood during the winter. Over the weekend, we’ll be helping to clear and restore the land, build an outdoor shower and work in the vegetable garden.

The programme runs from Friday afternoon until Sunday after lunch, with 4 practical sessions of around 3 hours each, social moments and plenty of learning.

Food and accommodation are included. We have 13 spots.

Fees: €15 for WWOOF Portugal members | €25 for the general public.
