The Azeite Egitânia Project is a space for reflection on the current situation in dry olive farming in Portugal.
It seeks to find solutions with a territorial impact to stop the abandonment of traditional olive groves, which are going through a period of fragility.
The valorization of regional genetic varieties, as well as the preservation of environmental, cultural and landscape heritage, are his work focus. On this 180ha farm, the production system is approached from the perspective of regenerative agriculture, resulting in high quality Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil added to an exclusive heritage value.
